This is a template privacy policy for the Itinify demo build. Before real launch, this should be reviewed by a qualified professional to make sure it reflects exactly what data you collect and how you use it, and complies with the laws that apply to you (GDPR, CCPA, or others depending on where your users are).

What we collect

• Account information — your email address and password (stored securely, never in plain text) when you sign up.
• Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your card details directly.
• Usage data — pages you visit, features you use, and general analytics to help us improve the guides.
• Content you submit — community questions, answers, and travel buddy posts you choose to share publicly.

How we use it

• To provide and improve the service — showing you the right content, remembering your Premium status.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To communicate with you about your account or, if you've opted in, our newsletter.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party services to run Itinify, including Supabase (accounts and database) and Stripe (payments). Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
